Automatic Power Factor Correction Relay

Sigma Industrial Control offers an automatic power factor correction relay, Model Cosmax. This is a latest micro-controller based APFC, user friendly and easy to program, with internal and external watch dog to avoid hanging, and ensure longer life of capacitors and contactors by optimising switching. Features: user friendly, easy to program, micro-controller based design; unique software ensuring optimum switching thus longer life of capacitors and contactors; in-built digital power factor meter to display instantaneous PF; digital display of settables such as target PF, on-delay timer, off-delay timer, dead band; test mode provides simulation for switching on-off all banks in binary mode; immediate cut-off all capacitors in case of a sudden load reduction of more than 70% of the present running load; no hunting, no over/under compensation; lag, lead, manual and PF low indication with red LED; LED indication for each capacitor stage; and auto/manual dual mode selection. Display profile: two digit display for instantaneous PF and set PF set DB, set Off time, set On time, manual operation; lag indication and lead indication by separate high bright LED on left side; and PF low indication and auto/manual indication by separate LED on right hand.
