Automatic Power Factor Controller (Apfc) Relay

The power (kVA) supplied by Electricity Boards consists of real power (kW), which produces energy and reactive power (kVAr) generated by inductive loads, which decreases the loading capacity and the efficiency of the supply system. Power Factor (PF) is defined as a ratio between the real power and the total power. Jaivic Electromech Engineering offers an automatic power factor controller (APFC) relay. Specifications: display – multifunctional LCD (2x16 characters), alpha numeric, backlit LCD illumination; control – menu-driven handling; self optimising control capability; recall function of record values; quadrant operation; real-time power factor correction; RTPFC support (relay output) – contactor switching, thyristor switching; in operation – display of large number of system parameters – system voltage (V AC), reactive power (kVAr), active power (kW), apparent power (kVA), apparent current (A), real time Cos, KVAr value to target Cos, under current – sensing, under voltage – cut-off, wrong CT connection.
