LT Shunt Capacitors

Auric Engineering manufactures LT capacitors for power factor from 1 kVAR to 25 kVAR in 415/440 V AC. Capacitors above 25 kVAR are available in banks. These capacitors are used for power factor improvement and to reduce line losses. They help in reducing the kVA demand for a given kW load and save electricity. These capacitors also help in better voltage regulation. They are available in 3- and 6-terminal versions. Modular construction is available from 10 kVAR onwards. These capacitors are built as per IS 2834, and pass all the tests accordingly. Special inductor coils are designed in these capacitors to protect them from voltage surges and increased life of the electrical equipment. They are used by various State Electricity Boards and other industries, etc.
