Capacitors

Tibrewala Electronics Limited is a manufacturer of capacitors used in electric fans, motors, CVT, mono-bloc pumps, air conditioning compressors and motors, washing machines, UPS systems, etc. These capacitors are available from 1 MFD to 144 MFD with voltage ratings 250 V to 600 V AC, and the power capacitors are available from 1 to 25 KVAR voltage rating 415/440 V AC, 50 Hz. These are manufactured using high-grade heavy edge metallised polypropylene film wound on state of the art high precision winding machines. Extremely tight winding is ensured to avoid corona discharge occurring between layers. The heavy edge of zinc is formed to provide better bonding between electrode and end spray and also has high current carrying capacity ensuring better withstand to electromechanical stresses caused by switching surges. The basic raw material, viz, BOPP film, is imported from sources like Hoechst-Germany, etc. Standard capacitor ranges: motor run capacitors - capacitance range 4 MFD to 144 MFD; fan capacitors - as per IS 1709: 1984, capacitance range 1.25 MFD to 4 MFD; fluorescent and discharge lamp capacitors - as per IS 1569: 1976, capacitance range 3.15 MFD to 42 MFD; and LT shunt capacitors - IS 13340: 1993, BIS certification marked, rating 1 to 25 KVAR with banking facility for high ratings, voltage rating 415/440 V AC, 50 Hz, temperature category 50?C.
