The MKP type capacitors consist of low-loss dielectric formed by pure polypropylene film. A thin self-healing mixture of zinc and aluminium is metallised directly on one side of the PP-film under vacuum. This technology ensures long operating life of the capacitor. Features: metallised polypropylene (MKP) film design; compact cylindrical aluminium can design; jelly impregnated structure gives cooling effect; better heat dissipation; explosion proof design (internal fuse protection); and external low losses due to advanced winding and zinc spray equipment. Application: fixed PF correction, automatic PF correction, and harmonic filter system.
