Aluminium Housed Resistors

Stead Electronics (India) Pvt Ltd offers a range of Aluminium Housed Resistors. These are resistors encased in aluminium housing normally having a flat base for mounting. Aluminium encased resistors are wound with copper nickel or nickel chromium wire, on a ceramic core fitted with end caps, to obtain required resistance. The wound assembly is then encapsulated in an anodised heat sink using high temperature moulding compound. These high power wire wound resistors exhibit high performance life and are extensively used across industry. These resistors comply with international quality and safety standards. A wide range of resistance available in 5 W to 300 W; small dimension and excellent heat transfer; good electrical stability, reliability and mechanically strength; values from E01 to 100 k; non inductive version available; customized termination, mounting arrangements available on request; and higher wattage resistors for special applications can be made.
