Megawin Switchgear manufactures magnetic actuator.The Type VMA 1 vacuum circuit breaker is suitable for 12/24/36 kV, up to 1600 A. The breaker is a combination of vacuum interrupters placed in resin cast housing, maintenance free magnetic actuator and electronic controller with sensors. This means a maintenance free circuit breaker for its entire life and the following are the salient features: highly compact, fewer components, simple mechanism, longer life, zero maintenance, simple directly coupled linear motion. Advantages: very compact; less number of parts (no motor, gear, levers and linkages); only one moving part (shaft); mechanical life of 1,00,000 CO operations; and self supervision of breaker operation and auxiliary switches using advanced micro processor technology. Zero closing and opening facility is available as an optional feature. Applications: in view of high reliability of the VMA1 circuit breaker, it is recommended for unmanned substation, auto reclosing, critical and frequent switching, etc.
