Miniature Circuit Breaker

Sigma miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), among the best available, are current limiting MCBs with undelayed magnetic and delayed thermal trips and with trip free mechanism that enables them to meet all their functions with highest safety. The structure of their magnetic relay is such that they present great impendence level to short circuit currents. This allows the short circuit current values to be cut down to low levels (lower than 1/3rd of the prospective fault level), thus reducing the let through energy to the lowest level. The 12 plates arching chamber along with arc runner is so designed that the gases are cooled quickly enough to enable the MCB to clear 10 kA short circuit successfully.
