Fuse Holders & Disconnectors

Ferraz Shawmut offers a wide range of fuse holders and disconnectors for French ferrule fuses to meet the convenience of the switchboard builders as well as to meet the need of the users. They cover applications from low voltage power distribution in industrial, commercial and even residential environments, to offer protection from overloads and short circuits at all levels in power distribution, in main, branch circuits, service entrance equipment. The range of holders comes in distinct sizes to accommodate French ferrule fuses, i.e., 8x31, 10x38, 14x51, 22x58 and 27x60 mm, covering 0.5 A to 125 A, 400-690 V AC general purpose and “Protistor” semiconductor protection fuses. They are available in 1-pole, 1-pole and neutral, 2-pole, 2-pole and neutral, 3-pole, 3-pole and neutral and 4-pole configurations to meet the varied need of the circuits. The fuses are available in these sizes in general purpose – gG, motor protection – aM, and semiconductor protection versions. The Fuse holders are tested with the complete range of Ferraz Shawmut “Protistor” ferrule fuses. These can be mounted symmetrical on 35 mm DIN rails with a snap locking in open and release position to make both mounting and dismounting easier. They have standard width, for ease of enclosure fabrication. The units are finger safe and comply with EN60269 and EN60947-1 & 3. Tag and lock out system allows maintenance people can work in full safely. Optional blown fuse indication is available with indicator light.
