Drop Out Fuse

Transpower Switchgear Industries offers a Drop Out Fuse. This is a lift off fuse (up to and 33 kV line as per IS 9385/IS 5792 and BS 2692) link consisting of channel iron base two single stack insulators per phase. It comes complete with fuse carrier of fibre glass tube with both ends of heavily tinned non ferrous metal parts. The brush type phosphor bronze contacts provide positive high-pressure multiline connection and wiping and cleaning action on closing. The pressure exerted by the contacts initiates the opening movement of the fuse carrier. Copper and copper alloys high pressure heavily tinned metal contacts are used for fixed top contacts assembly and bottom contact assembly. The DO fuse units are manufactured up to and including 33 kV system as per IS 9385/IS 5792 and BS 2692, and tested by National Test House, government of India.
