Vibration Transmitter

Vibration transmitter VT2C from Predict Technologies is a permanently installed continuous condition monitoring device. It is suitable for surveillance of individual machines and unmanned plant equipment in remote locations. The system consists of one and two channel modules measuring vibration severity according to the required standards. It can be set to trigger an alarm when wear and defects have increased machine vibration to a level where maintenance is needed. At a selected level it will trigger an external warning and/or automatic machine stop. The measuring results are output as analogue 4-20 mA signals, sent to display units with relay functions and/or to a PLC or another computerized monitoring and control system. Measuring ranges and alarm levels are selected according to the technical requirements. The system is encased in a dust and water tight box and can be installed directly on or near a machine. The transducer is normally mounted on the bearing housing and connected to the system via cable.
