Vibration Monitor/Transmitter

The VibTrans is the latest technology for maintaining safety in large industrial rotating machines. Up to now plant maintenance was performed according to time based maintenance system (TBM). i.e., preventive maintenance, schedule was set up based on OEM, manual or time based on MTBF or analysing data based on past failures. However based on examinations after shutdown for replacements, it is observed that one can extend the life if machines are monitored online by a very cost effective way. Vib Trans is a single/two channel digital vibration monitor and transmitter, panel mount or field mount. It is a simple, cost effective solution to protect machines by giving online information, which can be connected to PLC or DCS of the plant and have a shut down when it is required with proper planning. This will result in improved plant maintenance profit and safety of machines/persons; increased machine life; reduced inventory cost and manpower cost by getting data at regular intervals; and reduced energy cost. Vib Trans can take data from any accelerometer (100 mv/g) and velocity sensor (3.94 mv/mm/sec) and will give digital display in the form of velocity or displacements with user configurable range. It also gives 4-20 mA, buffer output, relay outputs – a perfect solutions for industries to keep machines running in good shape by constant vibration monitoring. Applications: bearing housings/casings; vibration monitoring for power, oil and gas (safe area), steel, cement, fertilizer and process plants on: turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, motors, gearboxes, crushers, blowers, etc.
