Vehicle Tracking System

The vehicle tracking system keeps live track of all the vehicles or according to pre-arranged groups, replays old data and optimises the routes of the fleet. The Front End provides access to the following features: 1. General reports – speed report (vehicle at a certain speed, more or less than a certain speed); stop report (time stopped and where); location report (if near a certain location like office, depot, etc); trip report (departure and arrival from any fixed point); summary report (total time spent running and total distance covered); 2. Custom Reports: weekly/monthly overtime report (needs LCD/keypad attachment); total idleness report (time for which the fleet was idle); on time report (delays in reaching the destination); 3. Mapping - The vehicle can be tracked on a digital map, the map source can be anything from ESRI shape files, Google Earth application or Google Maps (integration into website); 4. Administration – all logins and queries are logged according to username and time for auditing purposes; any feature can be blocked or allowed by setting the role (Admin/Guest); and password strength check to ensure maximum safety; and 5. Management – vehicles and users can be managed according to roles and groups; and all reports can be accessed either in PDF/DOC format or in XML format for integration with reporting services. Besides, thee are a host of Back End features. The server can handle up to 500 vehicles per server.
