Speed Control Employs 8/16-Bit Microprocessor
The RG600 Series full wave, four quadrant, regenerative DC motor speed control employing an 8/16-bit microprocessor operates PM motors rated from 1/8 to 2 HP in either a single or bidirectional mode with 120 or 240 V AC input voltage. The RG600 control provides smooth monitoring and regenerative braking torque in either direction of rotation, allowing the control to maintain constant set speed even with overhauling loads. It also provides high duty cycle starts, stops, reversals, and basic positioning.
