Shrouded Bus Bar Conductor

The Insul 8 Bar system is a versatile powerfeed system for EOT cranes, goliath cranes, electric hoists and other mobile equipment. The conductors which can be of galvanized steel, copper, aluminium or stainless steel, are given protective insulation of high impact gloss finish, VR935/2 PVC or Bayblend compound depending upon the atmospheric temperature under which the system is to operate. The company can supply both straight as well as curved systems. All the systems are finger safe conforming to IP2 and are available in the range of 60 Amps to 400 Amps. Insul 8 Ltd can also design and supply systems for higher rating. Insul 8 bars and collectors are distinctively coloured for full visibility. Under no-load conditions, the collector can be easily pulled down from the conductor bar for inspection and replacement of contact shoes which are the only wearing part in the system. All Insul 8 conductor bars, irrespective of the rating or the material of the conductor are dimensionally interchangeable.
