Rotary Encoders

Orbital Systems offers a range of Rotary Incremental Encoders that are manufactured by Elap SpA, Italy. These rotary encoders are of the highest quality with the `CE' certificate. Encoders are available from 2 PPR up to 25,000 PPR with shaft diameters of 6.8, 9.52 and 10 mm. These encoders are rugged, with protection degree IP65 and can withstand hostile industrial environments. They are housed in various packages to suit customer requirements. Standard body diameters are 38 mm and 58 mm with square and rotary flanges conforming to international specifications. These encoders are available with 2, 3 and 6 channels with voltage ratings of 5 and 8-24 V in PNP/NPN, push-pull or line driver outputs. Encoders with 38 mm dia body have low starting torque, making them ideal for applications in such areas as test and measurement systems, packaging machines, moulding machines, cable and wire winding industries, pharmaceutical industries, cut to length lines, machine tools, etc. Heavy-duty encoders with 58 mm dia body find application for CNC machines, cut to length lines, SPMs, galvanizing lines, etc. Besides, these encoders can directly replace Hubner make encoders. The encoders are also available in hollow shaft versions.
