Remote wireless communication

Rajdeep Industrial Products offers remote wireless communication using GSM technology from Unitronics - Israel. A small and simple micro PLC is able communicate to a GSM modem and hence send/receive simple On/Off instructions or complicated variable information. This enables the user to "monitor and control" remote operations without any use of cabling. Since the technology is based on GSM (the same is used in mobile telephones), it is very easy to install and commission. There is no requirement for special permission/license to operate on radio frequency. Besides the range of GSM technology is unlimited to all parts of the world where GSM signals run. Using the real time clock in the PLC it is possible to trigger information at pre-defined times and intervals. Applications can be in areas requiring regular monitoring and hence dependency on humans; where cabling costs are prohibitive or cabling not physically possible, where the monitoring sites are located hundreds of kilometres away.
