Precision load cells

Series 1123 are strain-gauge based load cells from PCB Piezotronics, USA. These have been specifically designed to meet the high accuracy demands of critical load testing requirements. Their dual-bridge sensing design provides fail-safe, redundant operation with the ability to simultaneously drive two readout or recording devices. An external shunt capability permits remote operation verification. Aircraft-quality, premium steel construction imparts high stiffness, low deflection, and minimal extraneous load output characteristics. A field-proven, robust, mechanical design includes shrouded connectors to guard against accidental damage. Each unit is individually certified with NIST traceable calibration. Critical testing applications such as rocket test stands, rocket motor thrust measurements, static load testing of airframe structures, satellite refuelling, structural balance, and component life cycle testing will benefit from the premium capabilities of these instruments.
