Power Electronics Equipment

NGEF Ltd manufactures a range of power electronics equipment accredited by IS0 9001. They include: high current rectifiers, thyristor converters and inverters. These products are used in a variety of applications such as electrolysis/ caustic soda plants, DC traction sub-stations, electric locomotives and variable speed drives, in industries like steel, cement, paper, chemical and plasma research laboratories. The company's power semiconductors division manufactures: phase control thyristors up to 1,300 A, 4,500 V; fast turn off thyristors up to 900 A, 1,200 V; distributed gate thyristors 2,700 A, 2,600 V; rectifier diodes 8,400 A, 5,800 V; fast recovery diodes 1,300 A, 4,500 V; and power block modules 250 A, 1600 V.
