Motorised Variable Attenuator
DiCon's new motorised variable attenuator is designed for real time channel pre-emphasis and gain equalization in dense WDM systems. Using a direct motor control interface, the package size is only 56 x 46 x 25 mm. Attenuation can be set over a 20 dB range with just 0.5 dB excess loss. Optional monitoring ports can be included in both input and output sides.
