Membrane keypads

Protolab Electrotechnologies manufactures Membrane Keypads. It can be treated for clear transparency for use with LCDs or filtered transparent in Red, Green, Amber, Yellow, Violet and Smoke Grey for use with LEDs and segment displays, with selective hard coat and anti glare finish. SMD chip LEDs can also be sealed in the flexible membrane or soldered on the PCB. Interchangeable legends: where pre-printed information cannot be included in the graphic layers a series of pockets can be engineered to accept additional legend strips thus making the panels very user definable and friendly. Shielding: built in shielding layers can be provided to minimise or eliminate EMI/ RFI of static interference using copper, aluminium shields and carbon or silver grids with tabs.
