LinkSet 1073 Medical Information Bus (MIB) chip set enables automatic ata collection in bedside medical devices such as pulse oxieters, cardiac monitors, ventilators , and infusion pumps. The MIB supports internal implementation of the IEEE"s new 1073 Standard for medical data communication, which emphasises plug and play operation, patient safety, multivendor interoperability, and device to patient identification.
