Magnetic Incremental Rotary Encoder

The new MNI40 magnetic incremental rotary encoder is based on the latest AMR/GMR technology and is contained in an encapsulated and compact IP67 housing. It combines an exceptionally robust measuring system with intelligent diagnostic and adjustment functions in a compact unit. The MNI40 sensor is characterised by its resistance to harsh environmental conditions. It operates reliably and precisely even when in contact with dirt, oil, and water, and when subjected to shock and vibration loading. Additional special features: 1. Easy installation; 2. Integrated self-test over entire specification range for a high degree of operating reliability; 3. Intelligent status display and diagnostic functions; 4. Long life – even at high speeds; and 5. Significantly larger hollow shaft diameter than that achievable on conventional rotary encoder solutions.
