ISDN Messages Transmitted Without ISDN Links
The ISDN Converter D I C A 7000 is designed to extend or provide ISDN Basic Rate Interfaces (BRI) over transmission links not designed to carry ISDN (non ISDN links). The converters by DTM are used in pairs and provide several types of functionalities. For extending ISDN BRI a digital link is needed. Suitable digital transmission links are satellite links, radio wave links, leased lines or private networks. The converters work independently of the ISDN protocol and are designed to work with all off the shelf ISDN products and applications, including video conferencing, remote Internet/LAN access and voice/data communications devices.
