Infra-Red Photoelectric Switches
These are non-contact type sensors based on infrared beam technology. In this type the transmitter emits an infra red beam which is used for detection of objects.

Diffuse Scan Sensor - Built in Amplifier Type

Operation Principle:
In this type the transmitter and receiver are housed in single housing. The monitored object is used here to divert the beam form the transmitter to the receiver.

Through Scan Sensors - Built in Amplifier Type

Operation Principle:
In this type the transmitter and receiver are housed separately. The sensor gives signal when the beam is obstructed by the object.

Fork / Slot Sensor - Built in Amplifier Type

Operation Principle:
In this type the transmitter and receiver are fixed at permanent location. The sensor gives signal when the object passes through the slot.

Retro - Reflective Sensor

Operation Principle:
Transmitter & receiver are available in the same housing. In this type reflector is used. Only one side wiring is required. In this type sensing range can be limited by reflector position.
