Fifty-Hz Sine-Wave Mosfet Ups Cum Eps

Perfect Electronics has introduced a 50 Hz sine-wave MOSFET UPS cum EPS. It includes the facilities for low and high voltage cut, spike suppressor, battery beep discharge cut, overload protection and visual indications for mains, back-up, and low battery state. Audio beep is produced during the low battery state. It includes mains circuit breaker at the back panel of the UPS so if load exceeds the limit or output is short circuited then mains circuit breaker disconnects the output. It uses double sided glass epoxy PTH (Plated Through Hole) board for all the components including MOSFET to avoid any future maintenance. Solid state switch is used for DC path reduce the changeover time to less than 1 millisecond so it works as line interactive UPS instead of offline UPS. This removes the problem of screen interruption and loss of data during the failure of power. Since it produces AC 230 V at 50 Hz on 12 V DC with 7 Ah to 180 Ah battery, it can be used for computer and also to drive TV, VCR, 40 W tubes, fans, etc. It gives back-up time for one computer from 20 minutes to 10 hours which depends on the current of the battery.
