Encoder

Mahims Systems offers rotary optical encoders, robust and for trouble free performance. The company has introduced a new model, A 8010, useful for heavy-duty operation with high degree of ruggedness. A face mounting flange is provided to withstand vibrations and shocks. Encoder model A8010 is a transducer, which is an interface between mechanical rotating motion and power controller of motor. The encoders are tested on a sophisticated test zig for high speed up to 5000 RPM, max temperature 70ºC. Electrical supply 10-30 V DC, short circuit proof output with RS-422 to drive controller at a long distance. Internal filter circuitry is for surge and transients suppression on supply lines, stable regulated supply for wave shaping circuits results to maintain mark to space ratio of 1:1. Sandwiched SS discs mounted on a main drive shaft is to generate error free signals even in drastic temp variation change in environment. Ultimately functionally is to achieve high degree accuracy in positioning of elevated hook/cage within the traverse.
