Jayashree Energy Controls, in technical collaboration with Encoder Products Co, U.S.A., manufactures world-class encoders at their Pune works. Jencoder 260 is a boon for motor-mounted feed-back, brushless servo motor commutation, robotics, assembly machines, digital plotters, high power motors, office equipment, medical equipment, high speed printers, elevator controls, X-Y tables, etc. Encoder Products Co is a pioneer in industrial optical encoders. The recently introduced Accucoder 260 model incorporates advanced ASIC technology. It pushes encoder technology to yet higher level and offers features like hollow shaft with unique fleximount design, thus eliminating coupling related problems of alignment with cost saving as a bonus. This model permits operation at temperature of 10 oC and can be offered even for 120o which was hitherto impossible. It also offers IP 64 grade of protection, 300 kHz frequency response, 5-28 V universal line driver output, accuracy better than 0.01 (35 Arc Sec) and even commutation signals for brushless DC/AC servo motors. All this in a slim 30 mm package.
