Electronic reference standard equipment, single phase

Cal Chek 1 from Duke Arnics is electronic reference standard equipment for commercial and industrial applications, the ideal answer for checking energy meters on site. This is a portable, electronic single phase standard meter with built in error computation facility. It is a lightweight but rugged instrument with stable accuracy and thus ideal for carrying out checks/measurements at different sites/installations. As it needs no adjustments (or) set up procedures before beginning the tests, operators would prefer Cal Chek-3 to conventional standard RSS meters. The equipment mainly consists of 2 sections, Electronic Reference Standard (ERS) and Error Computer (EC). The ERS measures the powers, energies, etc, and provides the reference for MUT (meter under test). The EC computes errors of MUT with reference to ERS. ERS incorporates all the normal electricity metering functions. It measures directly the energies. So it can be used to check active, reactive and apparent energies of MUT. EC gives directly the % errors of the MUT energy parameters. It computes the errors of MUT with reference to the measured energy with ERS and displays them along with the sign, on the "% Error Display". The device also has an RS 232 C port through which the data can be downloaded to a personal computer.
