Piri Electrols Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company by TUV India, offers a range of solid-state Electronic Hooters in 3 W rms with variable tone and volume control. Tone frequency range is from 300 Hz to 1000 Hz and sound output is 95dB rms at the distance of 1 metre with controls on the rear panel. DIN standard housing (96 x 96 x 86 mm) flush rear panel mounting in ABS plastic in grey colour with suitable mounting clamps. Panel cutout is 92 x 92 mm, weight is 500 gm for AC powered units and 350 gm for DC powered units. Electrical ratings: 350 mA @ 110/230 V AC and 12/24 V DC. Piri Electrols Pvt Ltd, formerly known as Electrols, was established in the year 1962, to manufacture electronic instrument and control panels for the textile industry. Gradually, the activities shifted to manufacturing solid-state instruments/control panels for the process industry, e.g. cement, fertilizer, and chemical industries, etc. Facing difficulty in procuring good quality electrical/electronic hardware, the company started developing industrial grade hardware with the assistance from companies like IBM, BARC, HAL, etc., who were also in need of the same. Thus, the first UL listed type barrier terminal blocks were developed and marketed under the brand name 'PIRI', which were soon followed by indicator lights in various sizes, designs and specifications.
