Electronic Gauges

Tespa Tools offers a range of electronic gauges. The electronic gauge consists of a measuring gauge of the swing arm type with an electronic transducer head to monitor the diameter. The measuring arm is of tubular construction and calipers are supplied for interrupted surfaces on request. The signal from the transducer is fed into the digital display unit. When the preset diameter is reached, the gauge gives a signal to the electrical solenoid fitted on the machine, which in turn retracts the wheel. An adjustable time delay is provided to accommodate for dwell time. It has also an audio signal (beep) for 2 to 5 seconds (variable) on reaching preset diameter. It has three relay outputs, which can be connected to the machine. The solenoid provided with the system will actuate the control lever to retract the wheel, on reaching the preset diameter. Electronic gauges with table mounted are also equipped for controlling automatic grinding cycle with fork type (two point) measuring head. In conjuction with Tespa auto sizer this table mounted measuring head can be used for automatic in process size control of outer diameters provided the machines are equipped with the necessary electrical and hydraulic connections for size control.
