Digital Readout Systems

Yogasa offers digital readout systems (DROs), which can be connected with optical glass scales, rotary encoders and micrometer heads. These DROs are suitable for measuring the traverse/rotation of worktable and positioning of tool practically on any machine, ie, lathe, milling, boring, wirecut, zig boring, grinding machines, EDMs and optical measuring instruments like profile projector, tool make microscope, tool presetter, X-Y co-ordinate tables, etc. The DROs increase the machine performance, reliability and eliminate the need for manual measurement and scribing work, jig arrangement and reduce scrap. Hence machining cost is reduced. The exact position of the tool can be read at all times which means that down-time and scrap rates are minimised. User can work in millimetres or in inches with absolute or incremental dimensions and also with multiple datum points. The DROs can store the current displayed reading in memory during power failure. They are designed with user-friendliness, clearly arranged oil, dust and water-proof membrane keyboards and easy to read displays which help in eliminating human eye error. The valves incorporate RS 232C port (optional) interface facility which allows the user to interface the machine with computer to optimise the machine's utility and functionality using computer power for data analysis. Measurement resolution is available in 1 micron and 5 micron.
