Digital Television In Cable Networks

Plug-in units for the Hirschmann CSE 3100 reception system enable users to receive digital television in cable networks. The system is designed for networks of 50 to 5000 users and converts satellite signals into cable frequencies of up to 862 MHz. The digital plug-in units completely decode satellite standard QPSK to 64 QAM. Each unit is fitted with a transponder with up to ten programs and contains an IF tuner, QPSK demodulator, a matched filter, Viterbi decoder, symbol word conversion, 64 QAM modulator, EF transmitter, filters and mixers, as well as output converters.
