Digital Indicator/Controller/Scanner & Annunciator

Wavetek Electronics offers its latest digital indicator/ controller/scanner/annunciator with a high degree o functionality and reliability. These units accept most of the process inputs like RTD, TC, mV, mA and frequency which are field-selectable via DIP. The unit has a 3-1/2 digit, 12 mm LED display. Display can be configured to 199.9 units with 0.1 unit accuracy or 1999 unit with 1.0 unit accuracy. Other common facilities like auto cold junction compensation for T/C, linearized output for RTD are in built. The controller has two individual setpoints. Output is time proportional or On/Off type. Proportional band hysteresis from 0 to 10%, cycle time of 0-20 sec and offset 0-10% are user-settable. Retransmission mA output or 24 V DC transmitter excitation power supply is optional. Scanner Model 2008/A is an 8-channel scanner with user-settable scan time from 4 to 30 sec. Other facilities like channel hold and advance are provided. Alarm annunciator Model 2008E/AE is an 8-channel scanner with common Hi/Lo alarm settings. Alarm status is indicated on front panel LEDs for respective channels. Alarm acknowledge disables the alarm while LED status latches when any channel exceeds limits. Alarm facility disables all alarms and LEDs, and begins from channel #I. Remote alarm annunciation is provided via D shell connector at rear indicator, controller and scanner are enclosed in 1/8 DIN enclosure size of 48 x 96 x 110 mm whereas alarm annunciator is in 1/4 DIN size of 96 x 96 x 110 mm (L x H x D). These units find applications in bearing and motor winding temperature control, multipoint process parameter monitoring, plastic industry, etc.
