Code Transmitters

Sameer offers Code Transmitter. This transmitter is used for any addressable or selective calling communication system. This unit can be an add-on to any existing system. This is an integral part of disaster warning system (DWS). The DWS provides cyclone-warning messages to the areas prone to cyclone. When a particular area (called station) is to be addressed, a unique code for that station is set and data is transmitted from the cyclone-warning centre. The addressed code combined with disaster warning message will be transmitted to the satellite earth station through line modem and dedicated telephone line. The receiver, which is addressed by the code transmitter, only receives the audio warning message. Features: bit rate - 600 bits/sec, bi-phase; data format - 100 (C) bits for clock recovery, 16 (UW) bits for unique word, 1023 (CD) bits for code; frame - C+UW+CD; data transmission - 5 frames (1 burst); code length - 1023 bits; valid station codes - 0 to 1023; programming features - 4 station codes, 3 transmission per station; and output level - RS 232 compatible.
