- Rapscan is a compact advanced micro controller based rapping sequential timer used in electrostatic precipitator, which is a clean air pollution control device
- To improve collection efficiency and ensure proper functional use of the rapper, proper sequencing and predetermined hammering accomplished by this controller
- ESP set up for a rapping system functionally applied to the collection plates to dislodge the collected dust particles and finally it is handled by bag filters
- A falling weight or fixed rotating hammer controlled by the rapping timer which raps the collection plates, causing vibration that knocks off the dust layer from the collecting electrodes
- The functional parameters available in Rapscan are programmable via four key pad assemblies in the front panel
