PCB Protection Spray

PCBs need protection against moisture/contaminants to prevent short circuit and corrosion of conductors and solder joints. These must also be shielded against static electric discharge. Setting up a thin uniform layer on the PCB surface and insulating it against the weather hazards, IT-89A gives total protection against the attack of dust/dirt, moisture, water vapours and corrosion. The coating is applied as a very thin layer by spray/brush on PCBs after the assembly, which dries completely within 2-3 minutes. The coating is UV resistant and also solderable. It helps minimise the dendritic growth and protects circuits and components from abrasion and solvents. The applied coating also provides insulation resistance. IT-89A is used extensively by UPS, electronics, instrumentation, electric control panel boards electrical and electronics components industry. IT-84 A is available in 500 ml aerosol cans.
