Rockwell Automation offers a flexible and cost-effective Industrial RFID Solution, a rugged and reliable way to track and document products as they move through the manufacturing process. Unlike the bar code systems used for similar, less demanding applications, industrial RFID systems are designed to withstand harsh environments. The latest addition to the Rockwell Automation RFID offering is the Allen-Bradley 56RF family of high-frequency ISO 15693 iCode tags, transceivers and interfaces. ISO 15693 iCode is an open standard for high-frequency 13.56 MHz RFID. Therefore, the reusable Rislan iCode tags are lower cost and available in a variety of styles and sizes to fit most applications. Tags can also be sourced from multiple manufacturers, making iCode the most flexible and cost-effective industrial RFID solution. The Allen-Bradley 56RF iCode offering features read/write speeds up to 52 Kbps at ranges up to 200 mm while providing the reliability and durability – even in tough environments. They also serve a wide range of applications including: asset tracking; data acquisition; product handling; tool management; automotive; food and pharmaceutical; security and entrance, etc. Features: 13.56 MHz high-frequency RFID solution; iCode ISO 15693 compliant; EEPROM memory; 28 B read/write tags; read/write speeds up to 52 Kbps; passive tags (no battery); transceivers can be mounted up to 150 ft. from the interface modules; reusable Rislan® tags; and reliable performance in harsh environments.
