Udaipur-based PEPL"s Digital controller (process and temperature) is highly reliable and accurate. It accepts various inputs like thermocouple (J, K, R, S, T), RTD PT 100, voltage, current, frequency and other inputs. The display is in 31/2 and 41/2 digit, 7-segment LED. The size of digit is 0.5" (12.5 mm) and zero and span setting is with the help of multiturn potentiometer. These controllers are available in one set point and two set point versions and control mode is On Off, P, or PD. The output is through relay changeover contact rated for 6 A resistive load at 230 V AC. 4 20 mA DC retransmission output and 24 V DC power supply for transmitter are available in 96 x 96 mm size. Cold junction compensation for thermocouple input and lead resistance compensation for PT 100 sensor input are in-built and standard. It operates on 110/220 V AC and 24 V DC supply and is housed in a rugged extruded aluminum enclosures (48 x 96 and x 96 mm). This unit can be used for a variety of applications in all the industries like chemical, fertilizers, steel, sugar, power and other related industries. The instruments have been tested for high voltage test, insulation resistance test, dry heat test, cold test, damp test and vibration test at national laboratories.
