ECS offers the CNC 2701 D, a new addition to the family of ECS CNCs which represents the top of this product range. This product is characterised by proven HW reliability and by a wide range of applications, and is so fully-featured that it can be appreciated in the field of high-speed milling, die-making and of general machine applications. The operator's console consists of independent keyboard and monitor. Two types of monitors are available: 14"colour CRT (remote controllable up to 50 m away from the main unit) and colour 10.4"TFT (remote controllable up to 10 m away). Two types of keyboards are available: membrane keyboard or conventional-key keyboard. The 1.44 Mb floppy drive is remote controllable up to 30 m away from the main unit and can be installed on operator panels even on large machines. Up to 12 interpolated axes. Interpolation rate of 800/1000 blocks/sec. Look-ahead programmable from 8 to 128 blocks. Minimum sampling time: 1/2 msec. S-shaped curve management with different accelerations at rapid and working feedrate. In addition to the wide range of state-of-the-art functions, to the high flexibility and customisation capability of the operator interface, to the power of the implemented languages, and to top-level graphic performances, this product offers the possibility to pilot the new ECS servodrives digitally.
