Buildmet Technologies Pvt Ltd. offers Code Key Access Controllers, BT8031KBD. It accepts three digit to six digit secret code. The secret code numbers are stored without batteries. Secret code memory is made up to 10 years. Code changeable is up to 1000,000 times. Output relay off is by "#" key pin selectable. Five code input attempts before alarm sounds. Keyboard lockout on alarm is for 10 minutes. It has applications in keyless entry for doorways as well as applications where any electrically powered instruments may be kept locked. It may also be used to make electronic safes for use in the hotels and offices etc. It accepts inputs from a 12 key matrix, which is typical of a telephone type keypad. The input number sequence is then recognized as either the correct code or the wrong code .In case a wrong code is entered more than five times, a lockout occurs for ten minutes where further input to the keyboard is not read. Simultaneously, an alarm sounds as an alert. The alarm automatically resets itself after one minute while the lockout remains for the rest of the period. One shutter door input is provided to monitor. In case a two-shutter door is used, the inputs may be connected in series. The door input monitors the door to sense if the door has been opened without keying in a code. Also, the door monitor senses the amount of time a door is kept open and prevents the doors from being kept ajar by sounding an alarm after about a minute. If a door sensor is not used, the relay remains energized for about 7 seconds only after which the relay goes off. Safe, the door needs to remain open for a long time; pin 1 of it needs to be closed (short). Now the unit will wait for the # key to close the solenoid. It is also useful where the door needs to remain open until it is closed. The same feature may be used to turn on any electrically powered equipment with a password. To turn off the equipment, the "#" has to be pressed. This feature adds protection and prevents unauthorized usage for any equipment.
