Variable load energy saver

Rulac Technologies offers Sense-Tek a variable load energy saver for star delta motors. Repeated load variations or load/no load conditions are termed as variable load or cyclic load. The applications include presses, conveyors, agitators, compressors etc., During partial/no load conditions, the AC induction motor is supplied with 400/440 V AC power. As this the motor to operate in no -load conditions does not require much power, there is scope for conservation of energy, say, up to 25 30% of no load power, by employing suitable energy saving devices. Sense-Tek automatically changes the modes of operation of the motor as per the requirements and saves valuable energy. Advantages and savings: reduced power consumption, lesser heating of motors, improved power factor reduction in maximum demand faster payback are some of the major advantages. The variable load energy saver is also suitable for compressor motor with star delta starters. The powers saving with this device can be approximately 20% - 25% of the no-load power, which varies based on duty cycle of compressors.
