Terminal Block With Power Terminal

Phoenix Contact's new PCVK 4 modular terminal block enables individual wiring inside the cabinet and the installation of a prefabricated plug-on socket connector on the outgoing side. Any number of these terminal blocks can be mounted side by side. The connector receptacle ensures reliable contact for 2 to 12-pole screw-type or crimp-type connectors. With the same outside contour, the PE terminal version POVK 4-PE ensures optimum connection of the PE conductor and the best possible overview of the terminal strip. The 7.62 mm grid enables the use of connectors with bus mounting capability up to a nominal voltage of 400 V. Any cable with a cross-sectional area of up to 4 mm2 and a current carrying capacity of 20 A can be connected up safely. A flange-type terminal, which can be fitted on the left and right-hand sides of the terminal strip, is also available as an option, providing a vibration-resistant joint between the connector component and the new terminal block. The range of possible applications for this bus-mountable screw-type connector include the series production of switchgear cabinets and the construction of modular machines and plants.
