Switch Boards

Amar Engineers offers switch boards designed for the distribution of loads and motor controls for varied applications, made to highest quality standards. The switch boards are specially engineered in cubical enclosure fabricated with sheet metal in a unique design gasketed completely for dust and vermin proof system. They are provided with separate compartment for individual switchgear with concealed hinged doors. All switches are equipped with mechanical door interlock mechanism. The structure and sheet metal are completely tropicalised and are painted in smoke grey or as per customer’s choice. The switch boards are equipped only with the most reliable electrical components. Cross sections of electrolytic copper/aluminium busbar and wires are designed to avoid over heating. Special care is taken to avoid air gap in busbar joints. Internal wiring of control and power circuits (up to 63 A) has been carried out with 1.1 kV grade copper conductors. The company also manufactures desk panels with mimic chart. They are equipped with measuring instruments, flow charts, variable speed controllers, temperature controllers, etc., according to customers’ requirements. The company also manufactures feeder pillars designed for service voltage 415 V, 50 Hz, 3-phase, 4-wire system. They are provided with unique double bank mounting busbar arrangement for phase distribution. Busbar is suitable to mount single, double or triple pole MDS make MCBs. These units can be supplied for indoor or outdoor application. Before sale, all routine tests as per IS: 8623: 1977 are carried out. Additionally all circuits are tested by passing specified current at low voltage.
