New Delhi-based Schneider Electric India offers low voltage switchgear in different models. The company offers surge arresters, which provides complete protection against lighting. These conform to IEC 61643-11 standards. The withdrawable range is 1 pole 230 V, 1 pole 415 V, 1P+N, 3 P, 3 P+N. The maximum discharge current (once) is 8/20 wave from 8 kA to 65 kA. Nominal discharge current (20 times) is 8/20 wave 2 kA to 20 kA. Features include: protection level - 1.2 kV to 1.5 kV; internal short circuit withstand current: 5 kA to 25 kA; and visualisation of arrester status under no voltage condition.
