When synthetic material passes over rollers, it causes static charges, resulting in sparking, sticking loose winding, attracting air borne dust particle even imparting shock to the operator. These reduce the efficiencies and deteriorate the quality of products. There are many methods to neutralise static charges, among them the most effective solution being the static eliminator. Excella Electronics has designed a high voltage transformer with three piano switches – low, medium and high stages, i.e., 5 kV, 7.5 kV and 10 kV respectively. Provision is made to connect three or four ionators or electrodes. These ionators consist of number of sharps pin points, which produce a stream of conductive gases which flows on the surface of synthetic material thus getting neutralised. Sandwich electrodes or ring electrodes are made according to the need of the requirement. Hence neutralisation is the only remedy to remove static charges completely during process. All types of static eliminator or discharge electr
