Auto Ignition is a manufacturer of automotive electrical components like starter motors, alternators, ignition coils, solenoid switches and voltage regulators. TS-16949 certified, the company has a full-fledged R&D set up for design and development of new products in addition to facilities at Fardidabad and Rudrapur. The R&D is equipped to validate newly developed products, audit present products under production and do environmental testing, which includes vibration, rain, dust and cold condition. For life cycle testing the company has over 40 engines varying from 400 cc to over 14-litres. OEM customers of the company include Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, KOEL, TAFE, Eicher, Escorts, John Deere, Force Motors, Standard Tractors, Sonalika, HMT Tractors, Lombardini, Cummins, Bajaj Auto, Ashok Leyland, TVS, etc.
