Soft Starter

Magnatek's RVS-DN soft starter combines microprocessor based circuitry and sophisticated motor protection with digital accuracy, reduced frame size of 8 to 72 A, and a rugged design. The RVS-DN can communicate with AC or DC drives on a common network using the optional RS485/Modbus RTU serial communication. port, Parameter modification, start/stop control and monitoring can be done from a wide variety of PLC or PC controllers. The unit is used with standard 3-phase induction motors.It provides an adjustable voltage increase to the motor for soft start and smooth, stepless acceleration.
