SOFT STARTERS: RVS-SD, RVS-DX & RVS-DN

Emco-Kimo Electronics offers Soft Starters, RVS-SD, RVS-DX and RVS-DN. It is manufactured as per the international standards. It is used for low voltage, medium voltage and high-tension motors and applications. It has been launched for the highly advanced markets and segments, which require high-end digital technology. It is available with fully reliable, heavy duty, 6 back to back thyristors in a 4th generation microprocessor based technology, with 3 phase angle control. The DX and DN series are fully digital based controllers, heavy duty, with UL, CSA, ABS Lloyds, Germanic Lloyds, marine duty, type tested, rigid tested, for marine, shore, ship to shore, and ship to ship applications. It is ideally suited for all heavy-duty industrial applications and requirements. The main features are the flexibility to convert from line to delta on the key pad, full display, easy parameterisation, energy saving mode, programmable curves, soft ware for use on DG set installations, and high flexibility. Internal by pass is provided on these controllers up to 300 A or 250 kW powers in the DX series, while the DN series requires no by pass contactor or costly ACB to run on line. The SD, and DX series offer no energy saving mode, while the DN offers an energy saving mode. It is provided with a complete range of motor protection and control. It is designed for smooth as silk starting of AC motors. The other products offered are electronics motor controllers and drive systems.
