Shunts

Sumo brand shunts are designed and manufactured to give optimum reliability in arduous conditions. Brass-end shunts are heavy-duty type shunts and provide an accurate DC milli volt signals suitable for ammeter indicators, control devices and overload protection circuits. The base-mounted shunts give the additional mechanical strength required for many applications. Wire end shunts and plate shunts can be supplied in a variety of configurations. These shunts are manufactured in the range of 1 A up to 15000 A having 50 to 300 mV output with highest quality materials. For maximum long-term stability and strength, copper manganese resistance elements are soldered/brazed into slots in the end blocks.
